The uniqueness of UP is that we don't necessarily follow the tourist paths not even paths and I know almost every single hill around here. No paths = scenic spots that only few people know!
Basically the tours here are for experienced hikers who want to know what is on the top of every hill and at the end of every path.
However if you are not an experienced hiker but want to come, I may figure out something for you. Just ask for different options. Really

STARTING AND ENDING TIME
The tours basically start in the morning but it can vary with each tour.
Morning is the best time to start because you have more time to check everything you want, and that is actually a fresh and nice period of the day.
Each tour ends as soon as we can finish them but it varies from the distance we have to travel and the season. Basically definitely before dusk.
STARTING POINTS
We are going to the mountains around Esztergom so we start mostly from Esztergom but It depends on the tours.
Please check the big map on the TOURS page for details note them and contact me in time to arrange things.
NUMBER OF HIKERS & TRAVELLING
1-4 people: after you arrived at Esztergom (or near) we can go by my car to the spot.
5-10 people: you should come by your cars to the spot or after you arrived at Esztergom (or near) we will go by public transport.
I will plan your public transport travelling schedule, don't bother with it.
Please check the big map on the TOURS page for details note them and contact me in time to arrange things.
DIFFICULTY LEVELS & STUFFS
The Hungarian mountains are not so high and the weather is good enough but you need to love outdoor exercise.
We will go uphill and downhill a lot and sometimes in the middle of bushes or exposed cliff perimeters.
So, please note that most of these tours are not for average tourists to regular, easily reachable spots.
On a 5 grade scale where 5 is the most difficult level it is about from 3 to 4. You shall sweat
You need:
a pair of good boots
trousers, long in every seasons
water, a lot in the summer
some food
optional stuffs: light raincoat and rain trousers or gaiters
WEATHER
What if it would rain on that day? Or there is a dense fog and you can't see a thing?
Please check the weather forecast before you plan to come. I can check it for you also but it had better not be a surprise if the weather is not good.
If you want to come anyway I can guide you in any weather conditions*. But in that case you may only see water particles in the air and mud.
*: In winter or in mud some of the trails are impassable.
